Are you tired of hearing unfortunate news? Saddened and timid by the reports of deaths due to Covid-19? Are to fed up and frustrated by the violence that is surrounding you?

These are all things that can weigh heavy on us. Often, we can also become numb to the frequency of reports of bad things in the world. We may even question, when will it all stop?

In these times, please reflect even more on the goodness of God. When things make no sense, when it seems life it is one thing after another, think of the all that Jesus went through to ensure that we come out victorious. Consider that God provided a reward for us to look forward to when we have fulfilled our assignments here on earth. When reflecting on all that’s wrong, hopefully there’s a reminder of all that God is and all that we are entitled to with Him on our sides.

We are heirs of salvation (cues Blessed Assurance)! This means that the price was paid for, by Jesus, allowing us to live in triumph!

Please remember that our God works behind the scenes to ensure that everything we endure in this life is for our good. We must keep our focus on Him, heading His instructions for us to navigate through the trying times.

MEDITATE ON THIS: Psalm 40:4-5 New International Version (NIV)

Blessed is the one
    who trusts in the Lord,
who does not look to the proud,
    to those who turn aside to false gods.
Many, Lord my God,
    are the wonders you have done,
    the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you;
    were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
    they would be too many to declare.
