GratitudeThe ability to show gratitude is indeed a great attribute. It is profound to think of all of the things God has shown us. It is amazing to know of all the things He kept us from, for our protection! Release complaintsIt is easy to let the weight of the world get us down. It becomes easy to see all of the difficulty that is before us. It is also, by the world’s standards, understandable to complain and whimper about every issue we may have to handle. God knows all! He knows every turn and twist on this path we are on. He understands! He wants us to come to him, releasing everything that is too heavy for us. Sometimes that is the point! Release the complaints to God. Praise God instead! |
Bible Verse: 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV)Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; When you think about God, consider the many things He has done! Dwell in His presence! If you are uncertain about who God is, do your research—dive into the Bible!
Thinking of God’s goodness will lead to thanking Him for it! He is greatly to be praised! He is Alpha and Omega—the beginning and the end! God has everything we need—HE is all that we need! Think on God’s love. Thank Him for that love! Think on God’s mercy! Thank Him for that mercy! Thank God for sacrificing Jesus for our flaws (our sins)! Think of where you would be if it had not been for the Lord’s saving grace! Whew! Thank Him for saving your life! Thank Him from delivering you! Thank Him for forgiving you! Keep on thinking of God and turn that thinking into thanking!

He’s been too good for me to not say “Thank You!”
Psalm 103 opens with “Bless the Lord, oh my soul…and forget not His benefits!..” Then the writer goes down the list of all the wonderful benefits we receive.
This blog was very uplifting!
