When there are gloomy days, do you automatically feel less than joyous? Do you sum up how your day will turn out based on the darkness surrounding you, or the destitute mentality that begins welling up in you?
If so, consider recognizing that these instances are only temporary. The sun will shine again! There will be better days to come! Do not mope and settle for sadness and gloom. On the other side of that is sunshine and happiness! This sunshine, this joy, this turn around comes from the Lord!
Be mindful that everyday will not be cheery. Everyday will not have sunshine. However, stay with God. He is taking you somewhere! Press through the gloom and doom that can try to creep in and settle in your spirit. God is still with you! Through pain, through heartache, through life’s storms, God is still with you. He is the God of refuge and restoration. Cling to God! Think of Him as the sunshine! God will return… and that means the SON will shine again!
