What is a priority for us? Do we gravitate towards family, self or others? Our top priority as children of the Most High should be to spread the love of Christ to others and lead them to Him! Prioritizing our walk with Christ means showing lots of love to people, whether they are followers of Christ or not. Prioritizing our walk with God is extending grace to others, showing sympathy and empathy to others, and extending forgiveness to others.

Making God a priority is a signal of obedience. It means that we put God first in our lives. We recognize that everything starts and ends with our Lord. When we make God our priority, God responds with His blessings, His will and His way in our lives and even in the lives of people in connection with us.

Making God our priority is the best decision we can make, on a daily basis. We have to incorporate God into everything that we say, do, think, and feel. It proves for a balanced lifestyle when we include God every step of the way!

Scripture to Remember: Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
