What does it mean to be on the frontline? The frontline, as the dictionary defines it, is the most important or influential position in a debate or movement. So, it is safe to say that being on the frontline for God means having a significant position that allows us to be a guiding light for others. When we allow ourselves to be on the frontline for God, we are showing our ambassadorship of Christ. We are reflecting the scripture of being salt and light on earth.

How can we impact others? We can use our voice to declare God’s word to others who may or may not know Him. We should encourage ourselves and each other as we go about our Christian walk. We should also show the love of Christ through our actions. That is what Jesus was able to show and teach before ascending to heaven. Being on the frontline for Christ takes strength! It demands that we work tirelessly to bring souls to God, thereby bringing glory to His name.

As we are on the frontline for God, we must not let the work of Christ be in vain. Instead, we must be mindful that we each have a purpose. Be reminded that being on the frontline requires a stature of gratitude, humbleness, and servantship. We should be grateful to have the opportunity to spread the love of Christ to others. We should be humble, not eager to take credit, but ultimately rejoicing in the Lord for every completed goal He has divinely given to us. We must always have a servant’s heart—just as Jesus washed the feet of the disciples, we should have that same mindset; helping and caring for others.

When we are on the frontline, let all that we do and say always reflect and lead back to our gracious God!

Scripture to Remember: 2 Timothy 2:1-2

Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.
