The Gift of Giving

God provides us with so many unique qualities!

God allows each of us to have our own unique gifts that we can use to bring Him glory. The gift of giving is selflessness. Giving is sacrificing so others might have something—so others might thrive.

God gave us Jesus

Jesus is one of the greatest gifts God bestowed upon His people!

Allowing Jesus to be amongst us, to teach the people, to heal the people, and to ultimately die so that we might live is such an amazing and selfless way to give back.

Give as God Gives

The gift of giving is showing love as God has shown us countless times. The gift of giving is allowing one’s ego to decrease and increasing something in or to someone else. We should all aspire to show the love of God. We can do that by helping the less fortunate, providing time and support for others, donating to people and organizations that need assistance, actively feeding and clothing people who need food and clothing, volunteering at organizations that seek to help the less fortunate, etc.

God has given us all gifts. Let us use our God-given gifts to help and uplift others!

1 Peter 4:10, NIV: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
