Tempting Times

As we are here on earth, let us be mindful that things are temporary. God has more in store for us!

Often, we want things expeditiously. Everything revolving around us is fast paced. There are things that we don’t have the patience to wait for. That includes a new position at work, a relationship, a baby, or even a new car or home.

As tempting as it may be, we must hold our horses! We must wait on the Lord before giving into the temptations of this world. God is so fair to us that he does not demand us to do things, but allows free will to choose and operate in His divine will and purpose for us.

Let us not squander the fairness and love that God extends. The things of these earth are tempting and temporary. Yet our Father’s plan for us is consistent and does not fail! It is like a guaranteed down payment on our future!

Remember to choose God’s consistency over tempting times (be it tempting moments, people, places and/or things)! God is worth the wait!
