We have experienced the exhilarating feeling of receiving a package or signing a contract for a new job, or even sending off something that finalized a goal or solidified a moment in our lives.

These moments of joy, of release, of relief and of happiness is how we should also feel when we are in a relationship with God. The moment should allow us to review where we were before solidifying and establishing the relationship with God.

We have joy because God’s love and protection covers us. We have release, just as we would if we removed old clothes from our closets as a new season approaches us. We have relief and happiness because, in Christ we are anew and old things are done with.

We should be ecstatic to get through life with Christ on our side. He presents signs to us as we go through life, guiding us in the ways we should go.

Our past is sealed—there is no turning back, only going forward! In other words, we are forgiven for our past mistakes and missteps.

We are delivered, by God, from the enemy’s snares. We need to trust in God, and not be tempted or swayed by our own way of thinking, nor others.

With God, we are conquerors! We win! He is a God who cannot fail! Strive to incorporate Him daily!

Scripture to Remember: Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)

18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
