In this life, we will experience pain. There will be times where it seems unbearable, piercing, and it will not feel good. This pain is temporary. God’s love and comfort are constant.

Releasing our pain means taking it to God, in prayer. It is an exchange for God’s grace and incomprehensible joy. Releasing pain is not easy. It can come in like a dark storm cloud, hovering over our lives. Pain can be angering. Pain can be suffocating (cringing at the thought of that)! However, God is with us in our darkest of times. He can mend our hearts. We need only to lean into Him.

Submit everything to God! God handles all things with our best interest in mind. When it comes to pain, this difficult emotion is not easily shaken. NEITHER IS OUR GOD!! When God is on our side, everything is possible. Release the pain! Give that pain to Jesus! Ask God for healing! Ask God for strength! Pain may make us feel weak, but God is made strong in our weakness!

Scripture to Remember: 1 Peter 5:10 New International Version (NIV)

10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
