Having a relationship with God is a freeing experience. It allows you to come to Him with everything you have. God wants us to ask Him for what we need and believe Him to be active in our lives—in our situation. There are no bounds to the love of God. We are not bound by our past, by our sins, by our flaws. God values us and sees us clearer than we see ourselves.
There should be a calming sensation when thinking about this: Whom the Son set free is free indeed. As a child of God, you have liberties that only He can bestow. There is no weakness in Him! He is a present help. That should free you up from stress, worry, anguish and feeling inadequate. Jesus died so that we might live and have life more abundantly! Capture this thought—store it in your heart and mind! Recall God’s freeing grace whenever things seem bleak. He has everything under control!
