Scripture to Remember

James 4:8 (NIV)

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

On this journey with the lord, be reminded of what it took to be able to freely be with him.

Jesus filled in the gaps for us. He laid His life down so that we might live. This means, we have the abundance of God’s love and we can freely fellowship with God (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)!

Walking with God takes obedience, but it results in confidence. God is a surety! He can make everything better! He is able to keep us from falling!

Taking a closer walk with thee requires a sacrifice of self. We must give ALL of ourselves over to our creator. We must freely hand over our lives to God, allowing Him full control of it all.

Every circumstance, every person, every place, every single thing—give it over to the Lord. This starts the process of trust and faith in God. Eventually, as you began to get closer to God, it will become simpler and there will be a hedge of protection that consumes you.

Trust God with the insurmountable! Draw closer to thee! Get closer to Him so that you will know what to do and what not to do. Remain close to Him in uncertainty, in calamity and in things that seem to be a downward spiral. He will raise you up! This journey—this walk with Thee is one that reaps rewards not only on earth, but in heaven!
