Have you ever found yourself in a situation that was so bizarre that you had to ask yourself how in the world did you get there? That is not uncommon. It is interesting how God has ordained his people to be in certain areas of their lives where they have no other option but to choose Him. It could be a situation where you feel like you tried everything you could, only to be in a place of desolation, confusion, and frustration.  It could even be a situation where things do not make sense and yet you are in a place of peace, of pure joy and of increase and positivity.

Be mindful of these facts:

  1. God works in mysterious ways.
  2. Everything happens for a reason.
  3. God is the answer!

God does what He wants, when He wants and how He desires. He does not need to wait for us in order to make a call on what we are to do (although our God is patient and kind). God does works things out for our good. Everything God does is of His divine power and strategy. Anything our Lord has said in His word is a guarantee. So, there is always a reason for what God does. Simply put, there is a reason for every season. God is the key! God, just like with tests, is the answer key. You can reverence His name in your strife! You can reference his mighty works in your life. Living with God means you live with purpose!

The next time you find yourself in a situation where you ask yourself how did you get where you are, be aware of God’s presence in your life. He is consistent. If, in that moment you are distraught, cry out to the Lord; seek His counsel. If you are in a situation where everything is looking up, acknowledge God with praise for all that He is and all that He allows for you to be. Finally, worship God no matter the circumstances! Worship God even when you do not know what the future holds. Worship God even when you may think everything is all good and there is no reason too. Worship is critical to getting to the next stage of your life. Worship where you are and where God is taking you!

 Meditate on This: Psalms 95:3-7

For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,
