Being God’s masterpiece is a blessing. It signifies God’s appreciation for His children. A masterpiece can be seen as outstanding, unique, worthwhile, and great craftsmanship. To be God’s masterpiece is to be a reflection of His amazing works.
How do we know that we are God’s masterpiece? God created each of us. He created us in His image, thereby, we are already deemed special. God says in His word that we are His masterpiece, and we are new in Christ. Because He sacrificed Jesus for the remission of our sins, we have the ability to be made over. We have the advantage of knowing just how unique we are to our Father. We have the ability to establish an everlasting, nurturing relationship with our Father.
Being God’s masterpiece requires us to own it and be confident in who God has called us to be. God has created us to be bold, knowing that He will supply all of our needs. God has allowed us to be free in Him, to have an abundant life in Him, and to be strong in our identity in our Father. As masterpieces of the Lord we must set an example for others, we must be kind, supportive and loving, enlightening, and determined, just as Christ was. We must be salt and light on this earth. Being God’s masterpiece is a blessing and the will of God.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
