Have you ever wondered just how fortunate you are?

Just being alive to read this is one indicator. We often take everyday occurrences for granted. It is often during an unfortunate event or time in our lives that we begin to reflect on the goodness God has allowed us to have. Perhaps it is best to take on this stance: Jesus died so we might live! Consequently, we were not damned to hell, weighed down by sin and lost from our Father!

God did not see fit to allow us to die and not have a loving, meaningful relationship with Him! (YESSSS!!) It is awesome to know that even as people, born into sin, we were saved from that! Did we deserve it? No. Could we have existed had Jesus not died for our sins? Nope. Yet, God deemed it so. He didn’t give us what we deserved (which, thanks to Adam and Eve, was hell). Instead, He infused us—breathing new life into us. Let us begin each day with gratitude, knowing that God maneuvered a life that could’ve been riddled with misery with the abundance of grace and mercy!

Scripture to Remember: Psalm 86:5 (NIV)

You, Lord, are forgiving and good,

I Am the Light of the World

12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
