There are times in life that prove to be difficult. It may be grieving the loss of a loved one, it may be health issues, career issues, identity crises, relationship woes, and the list continues. During these times, we may feel low, sad, and lost—a seemingly heavy dark cloud hovering over us.
Don’t fret! God is with us! He cares for us, individually. He is able to do for us what the world (and the people in it) cannot! God is our light in dark times!
Finding the light can be difficult when consumed by so many downward spirals in our lives, but let’s consider the following:
- God created us in His image and that means we have the power within us to overcome obstacles.
- God is love.
- God is always there for us.
- God’s light can be found, even in darkness.
- We can conqueror all things, through Christ
Remember, God sees all and knows ALL! Nothing is too hard for our Lord and Savior! Finding the light is finding Him. As things try to boggle us down, let us gravitate towards God’s magnificent light!!
Meditate on This: John 8:12 (ESV)
I Am the Light of the World
12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
This is such a beautiful message, GOD is always there for us no matter what our situation is. Trust in him and he will work out all trials and tribulations that we face. Congratulations and keep putting out GOD’S word. You never know whom you are helping get through their situation..
Amen! Thanks Mrs. Collins!💜
Beautifully written. God is light! May we be the light on the hills He spoke of. Salt and light!

Thai is so timely in times where things seem so dark but the light 💡 is so real
DEFINITELY JON! So many things to consider–so much weight, so much heaviness. However, God is continuously providing that light, that glimmer to cling to!
Amen! I love That God will do for us what the world can not. Lord continue to allow us to be salt and light in the earth!
Thank you for this beautiful reminder to not fret, God is with us no matter what we go through in life.
