When you reverence God, what is an indicator of your acknowledgement? How do you reverence the Father for His mightiness?

If you are unsure of the answer, think of God asking you to show Him a sign that you adore Him. We all have different ways of expressing ourselves. The same can be said about worshipping our Father. Nevertheless, do not think that your outward expression of adoration towards the Lord is something to be embarrassed about! This is coming from someone who thought that showing any kind of outward emotion of gratitude/praise was seen as an unwanted, unnecessary outburst.

God recognizes our praise and encourages our worship! (See Psalm 147:1-10 for reasons why we should worship our God). When we worship our God, we are exhibiting gratuitous appreciation for the Savior of our souls. Therefore, always be purposeful with your worship and praise. Show some sign to the Lord that He is indeed great, and greatly to be praised! Just as we thank people when they do something for us, we should show thanks to the Lord. Give Him your best!

In sickness and in health, acknowledge Him. If it be a waving of your hands, a dance, a clap, a holler, a cry—no matter! Show some sign to the source! He deserves it, and so much more!

Save this Scripture: John 4:23-24 New International Version

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
