When all that is surrounding us seems nerve-wrecking, unsettling and we feel that our lives are in shambles, we should remember that God is a comforter. He provides perfect peace!

Just think about it! We have come out of some things that had us wavering in our faith. We have overcome adversities, pain, anger and even jealous/competitive circumstances. In this life, there will be trials. In fact, God says in His word to expect that there will be obstacles (1 Peter 1:7). BUT DON’T FRET! He is greater than them all!

God’s peace is mind-blowing! It comes and comforts just as a baby rocked gently in a cradle. His peace is a gift to us. It is an exchange for all that we are faithful enough to bring God. Lay every worry at the Lord’s feet and exchange it for His perfect peace.

God’s perfect peace allows us to enlarge our spiritual journey with Him. Knowing that He has rescued and loved us through turmoil is something not easily forgotten. His peace is like a breath of fresh air after being seemingly trapped, gasping for air. We should be encouraged to seek Him during the hardest times of our lives, knowing that if He provided escape for us before, He can do it again!
