Right now, we all are experiencing living in a world that is experiencing a pandemic. For most of us, this is something that we are experiencing for the first time. During this time, there is a sense of newness.

We are new to the pandemic. We are also new to the feelings and way of living that comes with our current situation. We are each learning new coping mechanisms. As children on Christ, our coping mechanism should be Christ.

We must recognize the splendor of our God. Even in times of pain, concern, death, sickness, and uncertainty, God is doing something good in our midst.

We must inhabit praise and adoration, no matter what it looks like. Give honor to God for what He is sparing us from! Give thanks to God that greater is coming! There will be positivity to come from our current situation.

We are conquerors with Christ! While there are things around us that may not sit well with us, let us be grateful for the many blessings God has bestowed upon us during this time. We are alive, breathing, have the activity of our limbs, we are healthy, and we have not been consumed by the dangers of this world (these are a few reminders)! God is GOOD!

Be mindful that our ways are not His ways. God is doing a new thing in all of our lives. He is moving on our behalf, constantly proving His love and faithfulness. Do not deny God’s capabilities. Instead, trust the journey God is taking us all on! Trust in Him! Times of uncertainty and despair are the most significant times for us to believe in our God and His goodness!

Meditate on This: Isaiah 43:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
    and streams in the wasteland.
